Details

Embark on an exhilarating night trek to Kalsubai, the renowned peak in the Sahyadris and the tallest mountain in Maharashtra, majestically standing at an impressive height of 1635 meters. This iconic trek is unique in its accessibility, as it can be approached from four distinct directions, each offering its own set of challenges and scenic views. For this particular adventure, we have chosen the East-facing trail, which is celebrated for its welcoming nature and scenic beauty, beginning at the quaint Bari village, a charming starting point that adds to the overall experience of the trek.

The trek commences late at night when the stars are twinkling in the clear sky, and the air is filled with a sense of adventure. The weather is anticipated to be chilled, accompanied by a refreshing breeze that invigorates the spirit and energizes the body for the journey ahead. Our goal is to reach the summit by the early morning hours, allowing us to witness the breathtaking spectacle of sunrise from the top of Kalsubai. The sight of the sun rising over the horizon, casting golden rays over the cloud-covered mountains, is a visual delight that promises to be a moment of pure magic and tranquility, one that will be etched in our memories forever.

After relishing the stunning views and capturing photographs at the summit, we will enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared at Kalsubai. Following breakfast, we will begin our descent back to the base village, opting for the less-traveled Indorae route. This path is often less crowded, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the serene beauty of the surroundings, as we navigate through rocky terrains. Upon reaching the base, we will be treated to a delicious home-cooked lunch, a perfect way to conclude our adventure.
